Letter: Resident Says ‘No’ to Selling Edgewater
To the Editor-
Edgewater Manor was built for seniors. It’s not low-income housing; it’s simply a senior apartment building!
I really like living here, because I can walk downtown, to the library, to restaurants and around the park-like area outside! I thank God for living here!
A person’s home is supposed to be her castle; especially for us now. We shouldn’t be forced to move because someone thinks it should be an expensive condo by the river!
Evidently we shouldn’t have a nice home by the river. This is what happens sometimes; seniors aren’t important or don’t have rights. You see it happening to others, never thinking it will happen to you.
