August 30

Domestic Abuse: Police arrested a 21 year-old man on charges of disorderly conduct/ domestic abuse at 1:36 AM after he caused damage to the Blue Top Motel during an incident there.

Prescription Drug Theft: A 38 year-old man reported at 3:07 AM that someone stole oxycodone from him at a residence on the 3300 block of Minnesota Avenue.

OWI: Police arrested a 73 year-old man for operating under the influence at 10:34 PM near Division and Ellis streets.

Disorderly conduct: Police cited a 27-year- old Stevens Point man for disorderly conduct at 2:14 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop near Second and Main streets.

August 31

OWI: Police arrested a 21 year-old man from Minneapolis on charges of operating while intoxicated at 2:28 AM at the inter- section of Water and Matilda streets.

Open Intoxicant Runner: Police chased a man after they suspected him of carrying open intoxicants at the intersection of Main and Division streets at 9:47 PM. Whether the officers caught the man was not immediately reported.

September 2

Headstone Vandalism: A 49 year-old called deputies at 2:36 PM to report someone had damaged a cemetery marker near Highway ZZ and Highway 161 in Nelsonville.

September 3

OWI: Police arrested a 48 year-old man for his fourth offense of operating while intoxicated at 3:14 PM during a traffic stop on West Clark Street.

OWI: A 57 year-old man was arrested on charges of his fourth offense of operating while intoxicated at 6:28 PM while driving on Monroe Street. He was also cited for operating after suspension, failing to signal a turn and deviating from a designated lane.

Busted With Smokes: Police cited a 17 year- old boy with underage tobacco use at 11:58 AM at Academy Avenue and Division Street.

Backpack Thief: Someone reported a backpack containing Nike cleats and an iPhone was stolen from Ben Franklin Junior High at 8:02 PM.

Fleet Farm Thief: A 20 year-old woman was arrested on charges of retail theft and bail jumping at 8:18 PM after police say she tried to steal two sweatshirts from the store.

September 4

OWI: Police arrested a 26 year-old woman on charges of operating while intoxicated, second offense, at 1:18 AM near Stanley Street and Minnesota Avenue.

Recycling Bin Thief: A 31 year-old man re- ported someone had stolen the recycling bin at 11:54 AM from his College Avenue home.

Break it Up: Police responded to a report of two 21 year-old men fighting on the 300 block of Fifth Avenue at 8:15 PM.

Farm Equipment Theft: A 53 year-old man called deputies to report farm equipment had been stolen from his County Trunk B property in Amherst at 7:26 AM. Value of loss was not immediately known.

Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on the 2500 block of School Street at 4:14 PM. No major damage or injuries were reported.

Car vs Deer: A 46 year-old woman reported hitting a deer on County Trunk W at 11:28 AM. No human injuries were reported.

Wrong-Way Driver: A 36 year-old man reported witnessing a driving traveling the wrong way near I-39 on Highway 66 at 8:14 PM. Whether authorities caught up with the driver was not immediately known.
