Letter: AG Candidates Vastly Different
To the Editor-
Looking at the two candidates for the Top Cop position in our state—Attorney General, I see quite a bit of difference.
On the one hand, Happ is supported/endorsed by SEIU and WEAC (unions), Planned Parenthood and its’ support arm Emily’s List. She has publicly stated she is against supporting “certain” WI laws and parts of our Wisconsin constitution in line with her partisan views. Shades of Attorney General Doyle who picked where he would represent the state and where he wouldn’t.
On the other hand, Brad Schimel has over 25 years’ experience as a prosecutor and district attorney. He is endorsed by 89 elected Democrat and Republican DA’s and sheriffs. In fact, he is endorsed by more Democrat law enforcement officers than Happ. He is also endorsed by the Milwaukee Police Assoc. and the WI Troopers Assoc. His top priority is protecting the families of Wisconsin.
It isn’t hard to see who to vote for. I want an Attorney General who really will be our Top Cop. Please join me and a majority of WI law enforcement officers in voting for Brad Schimel on November 4.
