For the City-Times
On August 9th Deputies were called to 2189 County Highway O in the Township of Carson in regards to damaged and stolen farm equipment.
The owner stated two of his tractors had been damaged and noticed his Flow-EZ gravity box stolen. The owner stated that he believes this occurred shortly before his arrival, as fluids were still leaking from the tractors.
Valve stems were removed from each tire of two tractors, causing the tires to go flat and forcing all the calcium fluid to drain from all the tires on each vehicle.
There was also damage to the exterior of the shed to gain access. Outside the shed was a red gravity Flow-EZ box with E-Z Trail running gear stolen.
Total damage and cost of items stolen exceeds $4,000.
Pictures of the damage and similar gravity box are available on the Portage County Crime Stoppers web site and Facebook page.
