Grace C. Ceplina age 98, formerly of Stevens Point passed away Friday September 12, 2014 at Arbor View Court Living Center in Wisconsin Rapids, where she has lived the past two years.

Funeral services for Grace will be held at Noon on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point. Dwaine Habrat will officiate. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Grace was born August 13, 1916 in Stevens Point, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Petrick) Borchardt. As a teenager, Grace was the lead singer for the Fox Trio,
which was part of the national Mickey Mouse Club, they performed throughout the Midwest. She married Arthur Ceplina on August 17, 1937 at St. Peters Catholic Church.
While raising 8 children, she also tied flies for the Weber Fly Factory. After Weber’s closed she worked for Portesi Frozen Foods until retirement.
Grace is survived by 3 sons: Robert (Micki); Jack (Marge) both of Wisconsin Rapids; Don (Betsy), Stevens Point. 2 daughters: Judy Koback, Stevens Point and Mary (Bernie)
Plummer, Plover. 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren and 1 step great-great grandchild. 4 sisters: Theresa Landowski; Beatrice Marquardt, both of Stevens Point; Gloria Klopotek, Custer and Rosalie Ostrander, Plover. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur in 1997, 3 daughters: Margaret Lepak, Patricia Smith, and Sandra Copeland; 4 brothers: Robert, Lawrence, Raymond, and Clarence. One sister Alice Lundgren and two grandchildren : Brenda and Laura Lepak.
