Ervin M. Wasieleski, 82

Ervin M. Wasieleski, age 82 of Plover, WI died Saturday afternoon, September 13, 2014 at Ministry -St. Michaels Hospital.

Ervin was born December 8, 1931 in Hatley, WI and was the son of the late Nicholas and Frances (Disher) Wasieleski.  His marriage to Ramona Kawleski took place on May 21, 1949 at St. Casimir Catholic Church. The couple later divorced. He then married Lorraine Kolodziej on December 16, 1977, ending in divorce.

Ervin was a musician and an excellent trumpet player. He formed and played with his own band called Erv and the Hi- Fi’s, and most recently played for the Hermie Bella Band, the Schulfer family and Smokey Express. Erv loved fishing and enjoyed gardening.

In lieu of flowers a memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Erv is survived by his special friend of 32 years Phyllis Haase and her family. His four children Irene (Dennis) Taves of Plover, Myron  (special friend Judy Jurgella) Wasieleski of Plover, Karen (Gerald) Walczak of Stevens Point and Kevin (Michelle) Wasieleski of Plover. He is further survived by his six grandchildren Tina Wuske, Amy Rigby, Carrie Mish, Alex Walczak, Joshua Wasieleski and Jenna Wasieleski as well as his five great grandchildren Hunter, Kaleb, Kiara, Hunter and Austin. In addition, he is survived by two brothers Wallace Wasieleski of Plover and Ernie Wasieleski of Stevens Point.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Leonard and Nicholas Wasieleski Jr, and three sisters Gladys Glodowski, Leona Grassl and Dottie Mozuch.  Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Plover.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 P.M. Wednesday until the time for services.  The Pisarski Community Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
