OMNA to Hold Annual Meeting

The Old Main Neighborhood Association (OMNA) is holding its annual 2014-15 meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 7 PM.
The meeting will be held in the Founder’s Room on the Old Main Building. Leaders from the organization will review last year’s goals and introduce and discuss goals for next year.
Members of the public are welcome to attend, to discuss and share questions and concerns about the neighborhood surrounding UWSP. Local city and university officials have been invited to listen and share information.
Invited guests include: Alderpersons for District 2 and 3, Mayor Andrew Halverson, Police Chief Kevin Ruder and other officers, a spokesperson from offices of city inspection and community development, City Attorney Andrew Beveridge, and Municipal Court Judge Mike McKenna.
UWSP guests include UWSP Chancellor Bernie Patterson, members from the Office of Student Affairs, representatives of the Students Government Association, campus security and a an official from the university’s facilities planning office.
