Tammy A. Hintz, age 48 of Rosholt died on Saturday September 20, 2014. Tammy was born on March 17, 1966 in Stevens Point. She is the daughter of Shirley (Florian) Chojnacki and the late Frank Higgins.

Her marriage to Ronald Hintz took place on June 17, 1994, in Stevens Point.

Tammy spent many years at SNE and most recently spent time at home raising her children and granddaughter. Tammy enjoyed spending time with her children, granddaughter & family.

She enjoyed shooting pool, reading, writing, watching the ID channel and Nancy Grace. She loved her pet dog “Luke”

She was called “mom” by most of her children’s friends and she treated them as her own.

Special thank you to her friend Linda Myers for always being there for her.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Hintz. Her children: Shane (Nikohl) Higgins, Kendra (Shey) Burns, Haley Hintz, Hannah (Tyler) Hintz. Granddaughter: Berlin Hintz

Siblings: Kurt (Ronda) Higgins, Robin (Terry) Bauman, Rick (Tina) Higgins, Todd (Betty) Higgins, Kevin (Terry) Higgins, Michelle (Kurt) Higgins. Mother-in-law, Elsie Hintz.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law Chester Hintz.

Memorial gifts may be made to her youngest daughter Hannah Hintz and Granddaughter Berlin Hintz

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday September 25, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating.   Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
