Nancy Edwards Littmann, 79, died Friday, September 26, 2014, peacefully at home while surrounded by her loving family.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Roger Moldenhauer officiating.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Boston Funeral Home and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name for the St. Paul Lutheran Church Foundation.

Mrs. Littmann was born January 6, 1935, in Streator, IL, a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Mabel Ruth (Wilson) Edwards.  She was raised in Streator, IL, and graduated from Streator Township High School in 1953.

She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated in 1957 with a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy.  She worked as a physical therapist at hospitals in Chicago, IL, and Berkeley, CA, and at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

She was married to Frederick F. Littmann on November 29, 1958 at First Methodist Church in Streator, IL.

Nancy was very fond of spending time with family and friends.  She was a long-time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Circle.  Some of her favorite pastimes were reading, sewing, knitting, playing the piano, and researching her family genealogy.  Nancy had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, and to Europe, Africa, Asia, and New Zealand.  Through her travels and many friends, she collected coins of the world.

Survivors include her husband, Frederick; one daughter Sara (Gordon) Williams of Stevens Point; two sons, David of Madison, WI and Andrew of Golden, CO; one brother, John (Margaret) Edwards of New Holland, PA; three grandchildren, Sam (Jenna), Emma, and Ethan Williams.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard W. Edwards.
