Daniel W. Bohm, 54
Daniel W. Bohm, 54 of Plover, died Friday morning, September 26, 2014 as a result of an auto accident in Oneida County.
Dan was born April 18, 1960 in Stevens Point. He was the son of Shirley (Freeman) Bohm-Horn of Mercer, WI and the late Emil Bohm. He attended local schools in Stevens Point and SPASH High School, and earned his Automotive Gas Engine Degree from Mid-State.
Dan worked with his brother Dennis for over 20 years at Sports Specialties in Stevens Point.
Dan was currently working for Veritas Steel LILV of Wausau and also owned and operated Dan Bohm Sports LLC. in Plover. Dan was an avid softball player and played for Carol and Shorty’s State Championship team and for Horns Cabins in Mercer winning numerous Softball Invitational Tournaments up north. Dan enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and loved the Green Bay Packers. In Lieu of flowers a memorial in Dan’s name will be established at a later date.
He is survived by his mother Shirley Bohm-Horn of Mercer, two Brothers Dennis (Donna) Bohm of Stevens Point and William “Bill” (Debra) Bohm of Mercer, WI, and two Sisters Linda (Eugene) Janke of Black River Falls, WI and Patricia Bohm of Mercer, WI. and numerous nieces and nephews Further survived by Step Siblings Susan, Barbara, Diane Sandra and Richard Horn.
Dan was preceded in death by his father Emil in 1994. Funeral Services will be at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point.
Family and friends may call after 3:00P.M. Thursday until the time of services. Private family burial will take place at a later date in Mercer, WI. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
