Letter: A Student’s View of Scott Walker
To the Editor-
I’m not one of the “millionaires that Scott Walker cut taxes for”. Neither are my parents.
I’m a student at UWSP and my parents own a small business here in Wisconsin. Under Governor Scott Walker my parent’s income, property, and business taxes are lower leaving them more money to expand and hire more employees.
He has reduced my landlord’s property tax- es helping stabilize my apartment rent. He has frozen my tuition and will help me graduate with less student loan debt when every cent counts.
He has helped other businesses create more jobs too so I’ll have more opportunities when I graduate. I am grateful for Scott Walker’s help. He’s earned my vote and I hope yours, too.
