Motorist Assistance: Deputies responded to a 35 year-old woman who said she’d run out of gas near I-39 and Highway 66 at 8:28 PM.
October 15
Fight: Police responded to reports of a fight between an unknown suspect and a 14 year-old victim at a residence on the 1900 block of Strongs Avenue at 2:30 AM.
On His Way to Rapids: Deputies observed a 47 year-old man walking in the lane of traffic near Highway 66 and Deer Lane at 6:46 AM. The man said he was walking to Wisconsin Rapids.
Not My Tree: A 78 year-old man called law enforcement to report a dispute with a neighbor over a tree that blew on to his Lake Helen Drive residence at 10:48 AM.
Threats: A 38 year-old woman from the Salvation Army Hope Center, 1600 Briggs St., reported a 56 year-old resident had made threats against a 53 year-old resident at 10:31 AM.
Problems in School: Police were called to assist when a 12 year-old boy caused a disturbance at Ben Franklin Jr. High at 11:38 AM.
Troublemaker: A 48 year-old man was suspected of harassing over the phone individuals who work at Democratic Party Headquarters, 2220 Division St., at 11:24 AM.
Disorderly Conduct: A 23 year-old man was arrested at 4:26 PM on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting or obstructing an officer and probation violation after police responded to an incident at a home on the 200 block of Prentice St.
