Downtown’s Fall Festival, League’s Halloween Happenings Coming Saturday

The Association of Downtown Businesses is sponsoring a Fall Festival in the downtown square on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The event is free and open to the public.
Wristbands will be sold for the beer area for $15. Of-age participants will get a chance to sample as many as nine different beers from local brewers. Chili, Brisket, Polish Sausage, Chicago-style hot dogs, pizza and dessert will be sold by area restaurants.
Local musicians John Currier, Gumbo, First Avenue, Kayla Kay & the Men Brains will provide entertainment.
The event is from 5-10 PM.
Another Saturday night event is geared towards families at the Izaak Walton League clubhouse grounds on Highway 66.
The annual Halloween Happenings is being held from 6- 9:30 PM and will include a haunted hayride, jack’o lantern trail, campfire, games and refreshments.
The club is located at 5297 Highway 66 in Stevens Point. Entrance fee is $10 per carload. Costumes are encouraged.
