Letter: Vruwink Good for Community
To the Editor:
The education of our community’s children is on our minds when voting this November. For that reason, we are casting our votes for Amy Sue Vruwink for State Assembly. We have seen firsthand her genuine interest in what children are doing every day in our schools. Amy Sue connects with students of all ages just as a high quality teacher does and she understands how the issues in Madison impact our schools in Monroe County.
Amy Sue has worked in Madison to increase the transparency of the public school system. Wisconsin is now nationally recognized for the information it provides parents and the public on the effectiveness of their children’s schools. Amy Sue understands that our students need investment in technology such as broadband access to provide students with the 21st century resources to graduate career, college, or military ready.
Amy Sue knows the important role that schools have in our communities. She is the mother of young children, who are attending the same elementary school that she did as a child. Amy Sue will continue to fight to make sure that education is strong and that our communities are vibrant.
We are proud to vote for Amy Sue Vruwink for State Assembly on November 4.
