For the City-Times

Area ski and sports enthusiasts are invited to participate in the 41st annual YMCA Ski and Sports Swap on Saturday, November 8th from 11 AM- 2:30 PM in the Stevens Point Area YMCA All Purpose Room.  An entrance donation of $1 per person or $3 per family is requested. Volunteers are needed for the event.

The Swap is a very affordable way for people to buy or sell new or pre-owned equipment – downhill and cross country skis, snowboards, boots, clothing, ice/in-line skates, sports equipment, camping gear and more.

If you are interested in selling there is an equipment check-in on Friday the 7th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, Nov. 8th from 8:30 to 10:30 AM.  Sellers name their own price and will receive 85% percent of the sale.  Obsolete ski bindings are not allowed in the sale.

Go to http://www.spymca.org/ski-sports-swap/ or contact the YMCA at 715-342-2980 for more information.
