November 7
OWI: A 32 year-old man was arrested at 1:32 AM for first offense operating while intoxicated, operating with a positive blood alcohol content and speeding on Elm Street.
Bar Fight: A 21 year-old man started a fight with a bartender at Guu’s on Main at 1:53 AM. The man was escorted from the building.
Somebody Turn on the Lights: A 88 year-old woman called deputies to complain about poor visibility near highway 54 and Johnson Avenue in the Town of Sharon at 8:14 PM. She said the town had failed to turn the street lights on.
Underage Party: Deputies were called to a home on the 1800 block of County Trunk O at 11:22 PM where they cited an 18 year-old man for possession/consumption of alcohol. Two other men, 19 and 20, were also on the property.
Disorderly Conduct: Police responded to a home on the 1800 block of East Ave. at 12:31 PM when a caller reported a 10 year-old boy was causing trouble.
Gas Can Thief: A 42 year-old man reported someone stole a red plastic gasoline can, filled with gas, from a garage at his home on the 2700 block of Water St. at 12:48 PM.
Fleet Farm Thief: A 25 year-old man and 23 year-old woman were cited at Fleet Farm, 5590 Highway 10, after employees caught the pair trying to steal a air fresheners, galvanized washer, a halogen headlight, Carhartt gloves and serving dishes at 6:04 PM.
Razor Blade Located: A 47 year-old man called police to report his 9 year-old son discovered razor blades inside a deck of cards received during trick-or-treating.
November 8
OWI: A 34 year-old woman was arrested for operating under the influence, second offence, improper right turn and operating left of center near McColloch and Division streets at 12:56 AM.
Sexual Assault: Police responded to a report of a sexual assault on the 1300 block of Second St. at 2:40 AM.
Possible Attempted Drugging: A 22 year-old woman reported to police at 3:25 AM she felt someone may have tried to drug her drink earlier that night at a bar on the 900 block of Main St.
November 9
Noisy Exhaust: An 18 year-old man was cited for operating after suspension and non-registration during a traffic stop near Water St. and Sherman Ave at 12:56 AM. He was also warned for not having proof of insurance and improper exhaust.
Long Train: A 53 year-old man called police to complain about being stalled by a train blocking the intersection at Martin Island and County Trunk HH at 2:48 PM.
Missing Money: Police were called to a home on Harding Avenue after a 32 year-old woman reported her male guest was missing money at 8:11 PM. When police arrived it was determined the man’s wife had possession of the money.
Crash: Three men, ages 32, 33 and 34, were involved in a one-vehicle crash near I-39 and Highway 10 at 12:35 PM. No major injuries were reported but the 32 year-old driver was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control.
November 10
Truck vs Stop Lights: Crews responded when a 47 year-old man crashed into a stoplight at Post Rd. and McDill Ave. at 6:45 AM. No word on damage or injuries.
