Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen this week announced a Wisconsin Dept. of Justic (DOJ) series of video recordings relating to the on Public Records and Open Meetings laws have been released for the public.
The webinars are listed by topic and are available online free of charge at: http://www.doj.state.wi.us/dls/open-government.
Van Hollen originally held the webinars earlier this year.
“The Open Government section of our website has valuable information about Wisconsin’s Public Records and Open Meetings laws,” Van Hollen said. “I encourage anyone who was unable to attend a live seminar or the live webinars and who’s interested in public oversight of their government to check out the online recordings and learn more.”
Every fall, the DOJ holds free Public Records and Open Meetings seminars and webinars to educate Wisconsin residents, officials and media and to promote compliance with state laws.
