Betty (Luebstorf) Versecki, age 64 of Stevens Point, passed away Thursday November 27, 2014 at Wellington Place after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life Service for Betty will be held at Noon on Wednesday December 3, 2014 at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral chapel on Wednesday.

Betty was born August 10, 1950 in Stevens Point the daughter of Francis and Isabella (Wojtalewicz) Luebstorf. She graduated from St. Peters grade school and from Maria High School in 1969. She married Rick Versecki in 1971 and the couple raised 2 daughters, they later divorced. Betty worked at Sentry Insurance for 35 years retiring in 2006, and then began working part-time for CIC. She served for many years as a volunteer for Special Olympics, enjoyed playing cards, watching television and was an avid Packer fan. Betty was a member of the Ministry Health Cancer Survivors Group.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa Versecki, Stevens Point. Her sister Irene (Terry) Douglas, Casco. Two brothers: Edward (Denice) Luebstorf, Waupaca and Carl (Linda) Luebstorf, Stevens Point. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Brenda.
