Delbert J. Hudziak, 74
Delbert J. Hudziak, age 74 of Stevens Point, died peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital on December 1, 2014 surrounded by his family following a short illness.
Delbert was born February 1, 1940 in Wild Rose, WI. Son of the late Allie and Wanda (Warzynski) Hudziak. He moved to Chicago as a child with his family where he received his education. He then worked 11 years for the city of Chicago.
He moved to Stevens Point in 1979, he worked for Haertel Monument Company and later Sentry Insurance from which he retired. He loved spending time with his coffee buddies at Hardee’s.
He was an avid sports fan of all Chicago teams, and enjoyed casino trips. He married Stella Gadomski on June 4, 1960 in Chicago. She survives along with two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Tepp of Stevens Point and Debra (Dennis) Cowley of Yellowstone National Park, WY. One son Terry (Peggy) Hudziak of Cartersville, GA. Seven grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, and one on theway. One sister, Evelyn Seers of Stickney, IL. Bother-in-law, William Gadomski of Chicago.
