School Board to Hold Community Forum on Superintendent Search
City-Times Staff
With the recent resignation of Superintendent Attila Weninger, the Stevens Point School Board has begun the process of conducting its search for a new superintendent.
The process of selecting a new superintendent is, according to a news release from district offices, one of the board’s “most important functions”. And now, the board wants input from the public.
The board will host a community forum at 6:30 PM on Dec. 8 at Ben Franklin Jr. High, 2000 Polk Street in Stevens Point. For those unable to attend, an online survery is at http://bit.ly/33qualities through Dec. 9, or you can contact board members on the district website.
The board has selected search firm Ray and Associates to assist in searching for viable candidates and will be in attendance to hear public comments and concerns.
