Dense Fog to Last Through Monday
City-Times Staff
The fog bank hovering over the Stevens Point Area is expected to stay in place through Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Above average temperatures began to collide with the frozen ground last week, creating poor driving visibility and thin ice. According to the NWS, much of the local snowpack has melted and that visibility should improve as soon as Monday afternoon.
Conditions could improve Sunday afternoon but are expected to worsen overnight. Motorists are asked to use caution.
