Susanna “Susan” Margaret (Kluck) Hintz, 90
Susanna “Susan” Margaret (Kluck) Hintz, age 90, formerly of Mosinee, met her Heavenly Father on Christmas Day. She was at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Karen & Chester Danczyk, where she resided for the last ten years. Her family was close to her heart and she was able to spend Christmas Eve Day with them at her side. She was greeted by departed loved ones including her husband, Frank Hintz; parents, Theodore and Agatha (Gabor) Kluck; one infant son, Frank Jr.; one grandson; one great-grandson; one daughter-in-law; five brothers and two sisters; twelve brothers-in-law and nine sisters-in-law.
Susan was born April 9, 1924, in Stevens Point, WI. She attended Bevent Schools. Her first jobs were as a waitress in Wausau, WI and then in Chicago, IL. She spent the remainder of her married life as a homemaker and was a partner in the family farm. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her children.
On October 25, 1941, Susan married the love of her life, Frank Hintz, at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent. The couple lived in Chicago for two years then moved back to Mosinee, where they bought a farm in the Town of Guenther.
Survivors include her children: Daniel (Donna) Hintz of Mosinee, Robert Hintz, Karen (Chester) Danczyk, and Jerome (Julie) Hintz, of Stevens Point, Valerian “Larry” (Janice) Hintz of Rosholt, Donna (Artie) Ciepluch and Rose (LeRoy) Lemke of Stevens Point. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Surviving siblings include: Mary Jane (Andrew) Zick, Valerian Kluck, Eugene (Vicki) Kluck, Jimmy (Gladys) Kluck, and Roger (Dolores) Kluck, sisters-in-laws Geraldine Kluck, Regina Stencil, Selma Glodowski, Lillian Kaminski, Henrietta Hintz, Dorothy (James) Wachowiak and Elsie Hintz.
Susan enjoyed visiting with family and friends, cooking, baking, gardening and nature, watching the Game Show Network, playing cards and playing with the grandchildren. Her Catholic faith was also very important to her; she was a longtime member at St. Francis Xavier Church in Knowlton, WI, belonged to St Mary Anne’s Circle and enjoyed praying the Rosary.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton, with Father James Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening December 28, at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home 703 Second St. in Stevens Point and again from 9:00 A.M. Monday morning at the church until the time of services. A general rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Funeral Home.
