Aquatic Classes Offered for Adults

Adults with arthritis, older adults looking for a low-impact workout or adults with special needs are offered aquatic classes this winter and spring through the Special Needs Aquatic Program (SNAP) at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Classes are offered on Mondays and Thursdays, with a 15-class session held Jan. 22-March 12 at a cost of $45. Another session of 16 classes will be held March 23-May 14 for $48. Each class is 45 minutes.
The Basic Aquatic Exercise class will be held at 8:45 a.m., and the Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program will be offered at 10 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 4:30 p.m. Classes are limited to 15 participants each.
Both sessions will be held in the therapeutic pool, adjacent to the Quandt Fieldhouse in the UW-Stevens Point Health Enhancement Center, 2050 Fourth Avenue.
