Winter Weather Alerts in Effect Through Midnight

The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisory until midnight on Thursday.
A mix of wind, snow and cold temps will blast the area through Saturday morning, with wind chill values sliding back down to 35 below zero overnight during the next few days.
Residents are asked to avoid travel if possible, but if not to allow extra time when driving.
