Open Enrollment for Point of Discovery Charter School Begins Feb. 2

The Point of Discovery School is expected to open this fall with about 50 incoming 6th and 7th grade students.
Point of Discovery is a public charter school within the existing district using the principles of Expeditionary Learning (EL).
According to officials from the new school’s governing board, the EL model challenges students to think critically and take active roles in their classrooms and communities, resulting in higher achievement and greater engagement in school.
Open enrollment runs from February 2 through April 30. Applications can be found here.
