Delores “Dee” Dorothy Whitman, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 24, 2015 surrounded by family and friends.  She was born on February 23, 1938 in the Town of Stockton, WI and resided the majority of her life in Stevens Point, WI. 

Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.  Burial will take place in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Stevens Point, immediately after the service. Family and friends will gather from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Pisarski Funeral Home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point, and from 10:30 am until the time of services Wednesday morning at the Church.  A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. She worked for 45 years as President of the Consolidated Credit Union and Vice-President of the Central Wisconsin Credit Union where she was a loan officer, entrepreneur, innovator, mentor, teacher, counselor, mother, and friend to her fellow employees and members.  Upon her retirement, she also served on the Board of Directors of the Central Wisconsin Credit Union.  She enjoyed working on her class reunion committee and spending time with family and friends.

Delores is survived by her children: James (Jill) Whitman, Michael (Linda) Whitman, Lisa (John) Heitzinger, and Susan Whitman; a brother, Russell (Diane) Finnessey; nine grandchildren: Benjamin (Johanna) Whitman, Maggie Whitman, Alex Marth, Alesha Marth, Joshua Van Dreel, Jonathan Whitman, Hannah Heitzinger, Hallie Heitzinger, Hayden Heitzinger; great grandson: Rayne Marth, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Anne Finnessey and uncle, Daniel Stoltz.
