The Ben Franklin Jr. High Jazz Band performed during its annual winter concert on Monday, along with the school’s Charger, Jazz and Concert bands, before a packed house.
Students in grades 7-9 comprise the bands and performed traditional pieces like “Manchester March” (arr. John Edmondson) and more modern numbers, to include music from “Pirates of the Caribbean” and music from “Frozen”.
The school will hold its spring concern on April 27.
