Lorraine M. Koraleski, 92

Lorraine M. Koraleski, 92, of Stevens Point, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 7, 1922, in Stevens Point, to the late Stanley and Barbara (Helminiak) Goetz and was a 1939 graduate of P.J. Jacobs High School. On June 1, 1946, her marriage to Paul Koraleski took place at St. Peter Catholic Church. Paul died on Aug. 26, 2001.

Lorraine worked as a commercial lines rater at Sentry Insurance for 39 years, retiring in June of 1985. She had been a member of St. Peter’s Rosary Society.

Survivors include her son, David (Cynthia) Koraleski of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter, Jean Ann (Dan) Rusch of Plover; grandsons, Ryan (Becky) Rusch and Robert Rusch; great-grandson, Nolan Rusch; sisters, Rosalyn (Gerald) Pacyna of Richmond, Virginia, and Bonnie (Jack) Egenhoefer of Granger, Indiana; sister-in-law, Ceil Adams of Amherst; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by her step-father, Ted Kenowski; and siblings, Leonard Goetz, Gil Goetz and Diane Kenowski.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will take place in Guardian Angel Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time for Mass. St. Peter’s Rosary Society will pray the rosary at 10:00 a.m.
