Led by John Kennedy, Kennedy’s Kitchen has been making Irish music together since 1998, averaging 80 shows a year across the United States. The band roots their music in traditional jigs, reels, hornpipes, aires, recitations, stories and songs. They also play their own compositions, and feature the music of the fiddle, flute, whistle, mandolin, bouzouki, guitar, tenor banjo, harmonica, bohdran and bass.
The band has released four CDs and plays annually at Milwaukee’s Irish Festival, Michigan Irish Fest and Chicago’s Irish American Heritage Center’s annual festival.
