The second annual ‘Shamrock Shuffle’ is coming to the area’s most popular Irish pub and eatery.
The 5K walk/run takes place on Sunday, March 15, starting at Clancey’s Stone Lion, 7214 Custer Drive, in Custer. The pub is located about six miles east of Stevens Point.
Registration begins at 10 AM and the 5K begins at 11 AM. All proceeds will support the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Wisconsin.
“We and many of our friends have been personally touched by this devastating disease for which there is presently no cure,” said Jacki Clancey, owner of the Stone Lion. “The Shamrock Shuffle is our way of creating awareness while funding important research and support services.”
Early bird registration is $25 on or before March 5, and $35 on or after March 6. Onsite registration will also be available. Registration forms are available on the pub’s Facebook page.
Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Beverages and snacks will be available.
Participants can register by mail or at the pub.
