Letter: Keep Bradley on Supreme Court

To the Editor:

The Wisconsin Supreme Court election is next Tuesday, April 7.

We urge all voters to keep Central Wisconsin’s own Ann Walsh Bradley as a Justice on the Court. As close observers of the State Supreme Court for over 30 years we are continually impressed with Justice Bradley’s dedication to Justice and the Constitution.

Over the past 30 years, 20 on the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the previous 10 as a Circuit Court Judge in Marathon County, Justice Bradley’s decisions stand as well reasoned, intellectually honest, and adhere to the law and the constitution. Her decisions reflect the fact she cares about the common citizen and their rights. We find this very reassuring  in today’s age of special interest and political agendas. We need a court that is fair, neutral, impartial and non-partisan – a court that is independent, not beholden to any political party, association or special interest group.  Keeping Justice Bradley on the Court will help achieve this goal.

Having gotten to know her personally over the years we can assure you of her genuineness, the depth of her sincerity, and her commitment to all citizens of Wisconsin. We know Justice Bradley understands and retains her central Wisconsin values. We are proud to support her and hope you will seriously consider doing so as well.
