Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) held simultaneous commencements at three locations Thursday night. Recipients of associate degrees and technical diplomas celebrated their achievements with family and friends.

The Marshfield Campus commencement was held at Hotel Marshfield, where Debbie Van Asten, Accounting graduate, offered the student commencement address and Jane Wagner, 2014 Anne Adler Community Service Award recipient, delivered the commencement address.

Stevens Point Campus held their ceremony at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Dreyfus University Center, and Andrew Halverson, vice president of Business Development at Ellis Stone Construction Company, presented the commencement address.

The Wisconsin Rapids Campus commencement was held in the campus gymnasium, where Paul Gabriel, Wisconsin Technical College District Boards Association executive director, delivered the commencement address and Kris Marchel, MSTC Student Ambassador and Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement graduate, provided the student address.

MSTC, one of 16 colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System, offers a variety of associate degrees, technical diplomas, and certificates. According to last year’s graduate survey, more than 9 in 10 MSTC graduates are employed within six months of graduation.
