Throwin’ Rocks and Underage Drinking: An underage drinking citation was issued at 12:38 AM to a 19-year-old male near UW-Stevens Point. The man was cited after a caller reported four males throwing rocks at cars at the corner of Division St. and 6th Ave.
Speeding: A 49-year-old man was pulled over for speeding on Main St. in Almond at 7:39 AM. The driver was issued a warning.
Texting: A 39-year-old woman was pulled over by police after they received a complaint at 7:33 AM she was texting while driving near Stanley St. and I-39. The woman received a warning.
Disorderly Conduct: After a family dispute on the 1200 block of Northpoint Drive in Stevens Point at 10:36 AM, a 16-year-old boy was cited for disorderly conduct.
Key Theft: A 49-year-old Stevens Point woman reported someone stole the key from her car’s ignition at 10:56 AM on the 200 block of West Clark St. by a man known to her.
Resisting Arrest: At 1:36 PM, after an attempted warrant arrest of a 28-year-old female on the 1400 block of Torun Rd. in Stevens Point, police were led on a foot race to apprehend the suspect. The suspect was charged with resisting or obstructing an officer.
Mom’s Mad About a Piercing: A 34-year-old mother on the 1200 block of 2nd St. in Stevens Point reported at 2:30 PM her 16-year-old daughter got a lip piercing.
