By Brandi Makuski
Nearly 200 were in attendance at Sunday’s Korean War Memorial ceremony.
Members of Plover’s Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10262, as well as Plover’s American Legion Post #543 and Boy Scout Troop 201, provided color guards for the ceremony, which was held at the Isle of Honor of the Wisconsin Korean War Memorial at Lake Pacawa.
The program included remarks from Plover Village Administrator Dan Mahoney and Sang-il Kim, the South Korean consulate general, who attended the ceremony from his office in Chicago. Both men thanked veterans for their service.
