Crash: At midnight, a 20-year-old woman ran a stop sign on Minnesota Ave. and Jordan Ln. in Stevens Point causing a crash and citations for failing to wear a seatbelt, failing to stop at a stop sign and driving without proof of insurance.
OWI: A 33-year-old Plover man is being charged with operating while under the influence, failure to stop at a stop sign and a hit and run after he crashed into another vehicle at 2:11 PM on Whiting Ave. and River View Ave. in Stevens Point.
Don’t Shoot: Windows were broken after a 36-year-old Stevens Point male shot a pellet gun at a business on the 2900 block of Church St. at 4:23 AM. The suspect is charged with criminal damage to property.
Buckled It Up: A buckled portion of the road on Division St. and Academy Ave. was reported to police to have damaged the truck of a 56-year-old truck driver at 2:57 PM.
Fight For Your Pipe: A fight between two Stevens Point males, 22 and 23, over a stolen red and blue glass marijuana pipe led to police being called to break up the altercation at 5:31 PM on the 100 block of Minnesota Ave. It’s not clear from where the pipe was stolen.
Worried Mother: A 32-year-old Almond woman called police at 10:02 PM because she was concerned about her 15-year-old son trying to leave the home.
