OWI: A 22-year-old Amherst man was issued a citation for operating while under the influence after being pulled over at 4:35 AM on Hwy. 10 and Lake Dr. in Amherst Junction.
Candy Man: A 61-year-old Amherst reported to police at 7:45 AM that he had found metal in his candy at his residence on the 5500 block of Cty. Rd. K.
Jalopy Alert: Warnings were given for no rear-view mirror, loud exhaust, illegal tires and fenders, a defective driver’s window and defective seatbelt to an 18-year-old driver at 10:10 AM on Hwy. 10 and Badger Ave.
Take The Hint: A 45-year-old male reported to police at 10:22 PM that he wanted text messages from a 45-year-old female to stop.
OWI: A traffic stop on Portage and Union St. in Stevens Point of a 22-year-old woman at 2:13 AM resulted in police discovering the driver was intoxicated. Police issued a citation for operating while under the influence.
