Celebrate Plover Returns for Day of Fun

The Village of Plover is getting ready to celebrate itself.
The annual day-long Celebrate Plover kicks off Saturday, July 25 at Lake Pacawa Park, beginning with a massive co-ed volleyball tournament at 9 AM.
Dozens of vendors will begin selling wares at 9 AM in the Market Place, and the event’s Corporate Center- a showcase of local business and service providers- opens at 10 AM.
A tribute to veterans will also take place at the Korean War Memorial, situated at the east end of the park, from 11- 11:30 AM.
Concession stands and the beer and beverage tent begin serving at 11 AM, with the popular fire department water fights beginning at 1 PM.
Live music includes entertainment from The Drovers, Pat Keller and Grand Union, and begins at 1:30 PM.
Fireworks begin at dusk. No carry-ins are allowed but admission to the event is free.
