July 31

Saw It’s Gone: A 56-year-old Stevens Point man living on the 1400 block of Torun Rd. called police at 9:48 AM to report a box of saws had been stolen from his property.

THC Possession: A traffic stop at 12:27 PM on Division and Briggs St. led to the arrest of a 32-year-old Stevens Point man for possession of THC, who was also cited for driving without a valid license.

Crash: A 69-year-old Plover woman was charged with inattentive driving after causing a crash with a 74-year-old Stevens Point woman at 12:59 PM on Park Ridge Dr. and Linwood Ave. in Stevens Point.

Stop Calling: A 21-year-old Almond man contacted police after receiving unwanted communication from a former friend. Police contacted the friend and told him to cease.

Horse Hockey: An unknown and unwanted horse was reported to have been left in the pasture of a 60-year-old Almond woman on the 7300 block of Cty. Rd. D. Police contacted the owner and the horse was removed.

August 1

Eggs And Vandalism: A 19-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 1:08 AM to report his car had been egged on the 4500 block of Pioneer Dr.

OWI: After being pulled over at 2:22 AM on Centerpoint Dr. and Third St. for operating with an inadequate muffler, a 31-year-old man was charged with operating while under the influence.

Battery: A 24-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman was arrested at 3:15 AM after she was reported to have kicked and punched her husband.

Three Cast The First Stone: A 44-year-old Stevens Point woman called police to report three children, ages 8 to 10 years old, threw rocks at her on the 2800 block of Indiana Ave.

OWI: A two-vehicle crash at 8:51 PM on Second St. N and Red Arrow Dr. in Stevens Point resulted in a 23-year-old Stevens Point man being charged with operating while under the influence and inattentive driving.

August 2

Crash: A 64-year-old Plover woman was charged with inattentive driving after causing a crash on the 5300 block of Hwy 10. in Stevens Point at 11:08 AM.

Disorderly Conduct And Domestic Abuse: Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at 11:55 AM on the 2100 block of Fremont St. in Stevens Point when a 31-year-old man got into a fight with his mother and used an ax to smash the windshield of her car. The man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, domestic abuse, resisting or obstructing an officer and criminal damage to property.

Theft: A 24-year-old Oregon man called police at 3:05 PM to report that his medication had been stolen when he was at St. Michael’s hospital in Stevens Point.
