Scratch And Miffed: A 26-year-old Amherst man called police to report that an unknown suspect had intentionally scratched the driver’s side of his car on the 300 block of George St. and caused $1500 in damage.
Counterfeit Cash: A counterfeit $20 bill was reported to police at 9:40 AM after it was brought to the Portage County Bank inside Trig’s Grocery Store for deposit.
Theft: Cash from a donation jar at Central Rivers Farmshed was reported stolen from their location on the 1200 block of Briggs Ct. at 9:39 AM. The money was retrieved from four teenage suspects.
Theft: A 32-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 1:00 PM to report that a known 28-year-old male came into her home on the 2800 block of Minnesota Ave. and took $150, a PlayStation 3, a project and a basket of laundry. In doing so he also damaged a bedroom door and dresser.
Break-In Concern: A 71-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 2:18 PM to report that he suspected someone had attempted to break into his home on the 1400 block of Somerset Dr.
Mailbox Fatality: At 6:05 PM, a mailbox was reported damaged at the home of a 53-year-old male living on the 2800 block of Cty. Rd. F in Wisconsin Rapids.
TWD: A 37-year-old Plover was pulled over on Church St. and Michigan Ave. at 10:46 PM and warned by police for texting while driving.
