The former location of Springville Wharf is now a pile of rubble.
Demolition along the Plover portion of Bus. 51 has been ongoing since late 2013, when the Wisconsin Dept. of Transportation began preparation of a massive overhaul of the corridor.
A similar project for the Stevens Point portion of the arterial roadway, slated to begin in 2017, has been abandoned after heavy objection from residents.
The business formerly located in the longtime restaurant has since become Springville Sports Grill and has relocated to 2811 Plover Springs Drive.
