Marion Rose Makuski

Marion Rose Makuski of Arnott, went peacefully into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 22, 2015.
Marion was born in Custer on July 9, 1928, to the late Edward and Mary (Wysocki) Groholski. On October 25, 1947, she married the love of her life, Charles Makuski, and they polka’ed through their 56 years of marriage.
At home, in the weeks before her death, she was surrounded by her loving family. Marion was strong in her faith and instilled this in her family whom she cherished. She loved to pick flowers, go on the annual fall shopping trip with her daughters, continued dancing even though no one could dance as good as Charlie. If she ever heard of a need she was always there to help which is part of the reason she worked for 20 years at River Pines Nursing Home and served on St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church Rosary Society.
