Nicholas B. Karger, age 24, of Stevens Point died on August 24, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Nick was born on June 19, 1991 in West Allis, WI. He grew up in Stevens Point, attended the local grade schools and Stevens Point Areas Senior High School.

Nick worked primarily in food serves. He was a manager at Burger King, in addition to working a part time position at the Shell Service Station in Plover.

He will be remembered for his quick wit and joking nature. In his spare time, Nick enjoyed gaming and social media. Nick had a fascination with sports and enjoyed keeping up with sporting stats. Nick’s tough character complemented his loving nature, as Family was important to him. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children as a loving father.

Survivors include his children, Cameron and Braxton Karger; father, Thomas Karger; sisters “Iggy” Elizabeth Karger and Megan (Kevin) Polcin; nephews, Chase, Kyron, Isaiah, & Mason; grandparents; many Aunts & Uncles; numerous cousins; and many close friends.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Church of Intersession with Rev. Jane Johnson presiding. Visitation will precede the funeral from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Interment will take place at a later date in St Stephen Cemetery. Nick will always be remembered and never forgotten- he will be sincerely missed.
