United Way Chair Family to Sell Lemonade, Cookies Downtown

Weather is expected to be sunny and mild on Thursday, perfect for a lemonade and cookie stand.
The Cooper kids – Lucy, Eloise and Phineas – will be in front of State Farm Insurance, 1052 Main St., in downtown Stevens Point on Thursday from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM selling lemonade and cookies. The Coopers are the 2015 United Way of Portage County Campaign Drive Chair family.
The kids are also selling chocolate chip cookies and monster bars. All money from sales will go to United Way of Portage County.
The Cooper kids have set a goal of $127. Items are available while supplies last.
