Larry J. Weisnicht, 54, of Nelsonville, died Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at home.

 

He was born on Nov. 14, 1960, in Green Bay, to the late James and Edwina (Meverden) Weisnicht and was a 1979 graduate of Amherst High School. He was a self-employed truck driver owner/operator before going to work for Big Jim Enterprises as a truck driver.

His interests included tinkering with cars, motorcycles and snowmobiles.

Larry is survived by the mother of his five children, Dawn Heckenlaible of Nelsonville; his sons, Ben of Plover, James of Bancroft; daughter, Allison Weisnicht of Wisconsin Rapids; son, Tyler of Nelsonville; and daughter, Amber Weisnicht of Nelsonville.

He is further survived by his siblings, Lee of Green Bay, LuAnn (Lawrence) Kuklinski of Plover, Rhonda Weisnicht of Green Bay, Roberta (Henry) Andryszkiewicz of Plover, and Lisa Weisnicht of Plover; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his nephew, William Bicknase.
