The new location of Arby’s in Village Park held its grand opening on Sept. 10.
Area business association leaders joined with Village of Plover officials and owners Chad and Nick Sternitzky to kick off a three-day celebration of the new business. The store, located at 1825 Plover Road, is the fourth Arby;s for the Sternitzky’s via the Granton-based PREL Investments, Inc.
According to a news release from the Plover Area Business Association, the Sternitzky’s has about 15 years of history in the Plover area and some 30 years of Arby’s franchise experience in Central Wisconsin.
“It took us about two years to work out the details and we’re happy to finally be open and really look forward to being very involved in the community,” said Chad Sternitzky.
“We saw some design and construction delays after we had identified this new Plover location,” said Nick Sternitzky. “We saw it as a blessing in disguise and felt it would be worth it over time as it has given us the brand new unit used in Arby’s franchising. It’s exciting to be at the forefront of some of the growth and development along Plover Road.”
Village of Plover Administrator Dan Mahoney shared his congratulations and admitted that internally the village staff had “fingers crossed” the restaurant would build in Plover.
Amber LeMay serves as the Arby’s- Plover store manager with an additional 20 employees supporting the new business that is open daily from 10 AM- 10 PM. The store can be reached at (715) 295-4076.
