Pacelli Football Routs Wittenberg-Birnamwood 47-13

Pacelli Cardinals on Friday defeated the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers in a decided 47-13 victory, driving the Cardinals’ season record to 2-2.
Cardinal senior running back Chris Shibilski led the night with four touchdowns and 176 rushing yards. Junior wide receiver Ethan Jansch brought in two touchdowns for Pacelli, one on a 64-yard punt return. Senior RB Matt Helms ran for a total 65 yards and took the final touchdown for the Cardinals, bringing the final score to 47-13.
The Chargers’ two TDs came in the second half of the game with one in each quarter, both by senior RB Keegan Miller. The Chargers’ season record moves to 1-3.
The Cardinals’ win comes after last week’s 20-21 loss against the Weyauwega-Fremont Indians.
The Cardinals next take on the 4-0 Amherst High School Falcons at Goerke Park on September 18. Kickoff is at 4:30 PM.
