Too Close: After causing a crash on the 5700 block of Windy Dr. in Stevens Point, a 25-year-old male was charged with following another vehicle too closely at 1:07 PM.
Poletato: Callers reported to police that a potato truck had crashed into a pole on Cty. Rd. J and Hwy. 66 in Custer. The 72-year-old driver sustained no injuries.
Threat Message: A 38-year-old Stevens Point woman reported to police at 4:30 PM that she had been receiving threatening message from a known female via her electronic devices.
Fence Mess: A 63-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 4:30 PM to report that a truck belonging to the city garage had hit a fence post at his residence on the 2700 block of Michigan Ave.
Garage Theft: An open garage owned by a 45-year-old Stevens Point man was reported to have been burgled by an unknown suspect at 4:32 PM. Items stolen include a power washer, gas can and shop vacuum.
Not So Deer: After hitting a deer on Hwy. 54 near Johnson Ave. in Plover, a Wisconsin Rapids man then crashed into the vehicle of a 20-year-old Nekoosa man at 9:34 PM.
Double Trouble: After police received a driving complaint, two drivers, a 19- and 20-year-old male received citations for loud exhaust and disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle at 11:20 PM.
