Wiza Appointed to League of Wis. Municipalities Committee

Mayor Mike Wiza has been appointed to the Resolutions Committee for the League of Wisconsin Municipalities.
The LWM is a voluntary, nonprofit and nonpartisan association of cities and villages which acts as an information clearinghouse, lobbying organization and legal resource for Wisconsin municipalities.
Wiza was appointed by the League’s Executive Director, Jerry Deschane. He said he was “proud” of his appointment.
“I’d like to think that the things we’ve done in my short time in office had something to do with it,” Wiza said. “This appointment will allow me to share our ideas, thoughts and efforts throughout the state and bring some new ideas back to Stevens Point, too.”
The league will meet October 28 – 30 in Milwaukee for its annual conference.
His work on the Resolutions Committee will be published in the October issue of the League’s official magazine, The Municipality.
