Big Todd’s Racks Up Big Bucks for Honor Flight

City Times Staff
The Big Todd Memorial Ride and fundraiser brought in nearly $4,000 for two local causes.
The fundraising motorcycle ride, held in mid-August, brought in 85 riders who drove a 140-mile stretch along scenic routes in Central Wisconsin. Big Todd’s Rumble Inn, 1109 Park St., also sold raffle tickets and took donations for food and beverages during a reception.
All told, $3,920 was raised.
The tavern presented Bill and Patti Glodowski $1,707 for the Jesse Glodowski Memorial Fund. Jesse Glodowski died after he lost his battle with osteosarcoma at the age of 15 in August.
The remaining $2,213 was donated to the Never Forgotten Honor Flight. The NFHF sends military vets to the nation’s capital to visit memorials constructed in their honor. Veterans fly for free and the flights rely entirely on donations.
