Former Mayor Andrew Halverson is still keeping busy as ever since having left office- he just does so now with his family.
Halverson was spotted at Saturday’s Youth Area Football season-ender watching his son play ball. He jokingly referred to himself as the “assistant-assistant-vice-deputy” coach to his son’s team.
“I’m still quite busy, the only difference now is it’s things like this- I get to spend time with my family,” he said.
The twice-elected Halverson held the mayor’s spot from 2007 to November of 2014, when he stepped down five months early to pursue an executive position with Ellis Stone.
